ZAP wrapping and general help

Greetings veterans!

I recently got a ZAP and disappointed in its performance. I really don't think it is setup correctly, I've already tried following the directions from houseofhybrids, and it still doesn't seem right. I don't have access to high speed internet due to my location, so I am unable to utilize youtube. Can somebody walk me through setting up a ZAP? Maybe also some known issues / tips / techniques? Thank you all!

Can you explain in more detail what's not satisfying? Chances are you have a short somewhere but more detail can help pinpoint your problem.

a few things. make sure your wick is fully oxidized, adjust coils with needle/similar while firing until they glow evenly and light up simultaneously.

also, at first flavor might be slightly lackluster but it will break in.

So we had 325, and 400 mesh. I am not sure what I had in it. But the coils we're burning fine when dry. I took it apart, cleaned it. put a 325 in, wrapped it. it looked even to me. used 50/50 juice. its fantastic now

i think the guy i got it off of didn't care about the condition. thanks again
