What kind of steamer are you using? Is it one of the types for cloths, or the kind used to clean kitchens and bathrooms?

Picked up on of those for kitchens and bathrooms (McCollugh(sp?) ? I think).

Haven't tried it yet so this thread is encouraging :-).

    Thanks much!

I do it with the steamer. Mine is Shark Supersteamer (donno where wife got it). I wrap the atto with paper towel and hold it with pliers. Two -three 1-2second puffs bridge side and 2-3 puffs through the hole from battery side.
Through the night drying with paper towel "wicks" inside. 2-4 direct drops of liquid to start in the morning..... Once a week looks the best scheduler for 4 atto running in a circle.

Post Will not clean the coil

I can report that of the many atomizers (over 50 now) that I have taken apart--steam in no way removes any of the hard residual from the coil unfortunalty. I have held the steamer right up to the coil and let it fire for over half an hour with no removal of any deposits--so for cleaning the coil, I have dismissed steam. As for cleaning and getting rid of taste within the mesh--yes you can have some results----Sun
