On the tea-bags, I washed, cleaned and cut up some used ones, but they still have that tea-stained sepia colour. They don't have any tea odour though and look pretty clean and tidy otherwise. Presumably these are fine to use?
Has anyone tried the material from an analog cigarette butt?
could you please put up some pictures so i could see how to do mine if not its ok ill keep trying until i get it
It's been mentioned, although I can't recall if anyone had much success. The filter would be far too dense to wick something as viscous as PG very well so it'd need to be teased apart, and I think that would be difficult to do consistently. If you decide to give it a try please let us know how it turns out.

I'm trying teabags and so far so good. I tried to get pics, but the close-ups were too bad to use. It's a decent camera and I've never had a problem with any other type of pic but these are un-usable. Anyone have a suggestion for better closeups from a canon powershot? I've seen such good shots posted by forum users that I assumed it was easy.
I use about a 1.5X1.5 inch piece of bag, roll skinny like a carpet (per someone's suggestion) then put in the cart (I've done on both a 901 and 401) and cut off to the right height. My teabags were new but also a little stained, even after boiling, hopefully no oils left in there to wreck the atty. Just FYI, Celestial Seasonings bags burn pretty cleanly, no smell or sign of melting.

Work in an institution, we use very cheap brown paper towels that really want to not keep moisture in. Right now I am trying it and it seems to work very well. Just have to experiment with tightness of the roll. But so far so good.![]()
