I just tried the paper towel method for the first time and so far it seems to work perfect, I actually get more vapor then the original cart.
We should move this to a new thread or rename the thread so others can share results and tips on the paper towel method.

I am thinking I might do that pete...paper towel or teabag material both seem to work really good...although at the moment I am thinking the teabag is the best of the two but I plan to try a much better quality paper towel than the original one I tried, that tended to go mushy after refilling it a few times, whereas the teabag can actually be washed.

wow, aafter reading a bunch of the posts in this forum i am starting to come up with the idea for the perfect e-cig, lots of good ideas, it seems to me like everybody is working on one specific part. why not start combining all of these ideas? seems like this concept and the magnum battery concept would go hand in hand to make one of the best vaping devices ever.

I have tried that Ann...it soaks up plenty of juice but doesn't seem to wick very well. The art is in finding a material that always wants to pass the juice on to the 'dryer' atomizer metal wicking mesh but the cotton just seems to want to hold on to the juice.

I'd like an e-cig with a built in liquid reservoir and top up button, something like those primer buttons you get on lawnmower engines. I have no idea how feasible that is.

OMG. I just tried the paper towel method. Wow, It works so much better. Vapes better, don't have to fill ,fill, fill every few vapes. I still might try the coffee filters, since I have so many of them.

Question: With using the paper towels, will it help the attys stay cleaner. Like no hard black buildup from melted polly?

Hi Ann.....although I think that the tea bag material may be better than the paper towel because it doesn't go mushy when you keep on refilling it and you can even wash it....I have brought some really good quality highly absorbent thick kitchen paper towels today to try out ...so I have cut a peice only about an inch in length rolled it up like a carpet roll, slid it in the cart trimmed it off and am seeing how that goes now.

update ....wow after a few hours I have to say the wicking of this better quality paper kitchen paper towel is brilliant..Lotus Thirst Pockets is the brand...it takes loads of juice to fill the cart ...almost as much as if the cart had nothing in it at all and it seems to be feeding the juice to the atomizer at the perfect speed.

With regards to keeping the atty cleaner .....it certainly makes sure there is no polyester getting onto the attomizer coil but unfortunately I don't think it stops any of the gunk build up....that's still a problem to be solved.

i use scott brand paper towels and they have been great so far. I will never go back o polyester again. this forum has taught me a lot about e smoking.

i have a tip for anyone experiencing sore throats. Gargle with listerine 2 x a day and drink water after any heavy vaporing.

Thanks for all the great tips....I'm gonna try the tea bags to revamp my carts....i'll let you know how it works
