They're all like that. That's not modded.

I didn't notice if anyone had tried a piece of pyrex glass tubing yet.

So I like the amount of vapor I get on a consistent basis, although I do get a bit of leakage from the atty and a little liquid in my mouth. Small sacrifice in my mind compared to not having a big enough hit. Which is apparently what I need to fend off analog cigs.

If the atomizer would melt that straw would it not melt the cart as well?

    That wasn't a question.

The straw doesn't melt with this mod, but it COULD melt a lot easier than the cart since it's much, much thinner and a different kind of plastic. Don't worry though, you leave it in or else it would completely defeat the purpose.

I use a similar trick, but not a straw, just a piece of thin wire to push the padding aside and poke at it to let air out - in my case wire inteneded to be ab electric fence but, that's what i have, florist or fine hobby wire would be suitable too. Then no straw or anything left in the cart and, no trapped air.

Leaving the straw in the cart is what makes this worthwhile. It's not just for filling, it's for wicking purposes. You'll get more efficiency leaving the straw in.

I just modded my 510 cart I stuffed it with fluval using plenty all the way from top to bottom and I used a cut Q-tip for a straw. I made the straw so it's about even with the top of the stuffing which is just a little below the top of the cart. I got 17 drops in and they went in quick. It's wicking really nicely too. This is working pretty sweet.

you should leave the straw long, leave it stick out the top of the cart., then fill the cart., after your done filling the cart, just pull the straw out, this way dont worry bout it melting, also dont have to worry if your drop is going to fall inside the straw
