Default Kudos to SurbitonPete!!!!

I really, really, really have to thank Pete for his contributions to this thread: Replacing cartridge wool

I'm leaving for Buffalo for the weekend and I'm not taking any extra carts or fillers with me. I know my daughter has napkins (lol) and I'll just refill the carts on the devices I have with me, if I need to.

You just don't know how much easier these tips have made my life (and probably others here as well)!

So have a great weekend everyone....Happy Easter....talk to you all Monday!

And Pete...keep up the good work!

Lu

I've been converted too, four 901's all using teabags now, works a treat.

The thing I found when filling the cart was not to drip it in,
but touch the teabag material with the dropper tip & sqeeze till it's full.
Cos otherwise a bubble forms in the middle hole, reducing the capacity.

Great find Pete !

Thumbs up A Fulll Thumbs Up for Pete

Glad Lu started a thread for Pete here. As I stated last night--Pete hit a home run right out of the park here with these tea bags!!! I now only use them and have gotten rid of the polyester cores for good--They last much longer, are econimical, and there is not burning fumes from the polyester!!!--Thanks again Pete for your efforts---Sun

Couldn't believe this would work, but it does. Thank you very much Pete. Freedom from the horrible polyester.

Wow - completely missed all this going on. I've given it a go in my mini-pipe and works great. Good work Pete!

I, too will never be bothered with poly again. I might use it once in a brand new blank cart, but will stick with teabags/coffee filters from now on.

Happy Easter all...

I've read 3-4 threads on using the teabags and coffee filters....great idea....BUT

what am I doing wrong Tried both...rolled and stuck in cart...put in juice...maybe one puff and kapoooooie...nada.

Maybe not putting in enough juice? Do I fill it plum full til liquid pools up on top?

I know all this e-cig stuff is not rocket science, but I really seem to be having problems figuring it all out. I now have 2 M401s that sometimes work and sometimes don't. Seems to me I get the best results from a pre-filled cart. When I use the JC juice I have it seems like I can't get hardly any good vapor and no taste...except for the Kona Coffee which does really well.

Oh well...still working on it. I have really cut back on the nasty cigs and do so want the e-cigs to work. I'm thinking about trying either 801 or 901 from bestecig...really good prices and I heard great things about them.

Yes, thank you Pete. Your innovative mind is something to behold. Now, if you would get to designing, patenting, and marketing a new personal vaporizer for the masses you would be able to get some compensation for your time.

I know you could do it, just set your mind to it. I'd love to see a nicely designed steampunk vaporizer. Brass or copper color maybe?

p.s. you will have to keep your inventions secret to make any money, you know? =)

Default tea bags work

tea bags work great. thanks pete for a great idea. Also for the paper towel idea as these work well as a backup. I am using Lipton regular black tea bags.
someone on these boards called lipton and these bags are made of hemp.
Also Lipton does not use any glues or other unnatural substances, so i feel safe with these. Makes great tea as well.
