| Hi, On a website selling e-liquid it said it takes 1 ml to fill 1 cartridge. Does this sound right to you from your experience? Thanks, Barbara |

| SaNTa CLAuSe MoD USA Supplier | Unless someone has completely filled a blank cartridge, its hard to tell. Most people that use eliquid don't completely fill a cart. They top it off or drip with it. from my experience, I would say 1 entire cartridge would equal +/- 1ml. Good luck ![]()

| Depends on the device, of course. A pipe cartridge can hold maybe 4ml. A cigar cartridge more than 2ml. A pen style might be 1ml; I haven't measured, just top them off. But a mini cig is practically zip. A few drops and you're done. |

| NZ Supplier | I find filling a blank penstyle core for the first time that 0.9ml to 1.1ml is about the maximum I can squeeze in there. That's using a syringe to fill it. I think the variation may come from the wadding in the cartridge, how that is packed will affect the amount of liquid it can store.

| So far I have dripped about 6 drops on an empty cartridge. How many drops equal 1 ml? |

| Oh, and where can I buy a syringe? I have a lot of empty cartridges and have just received a bottle of Smoke Juice. How many times can you use an empty cartridge? When it gets kind of fuzzy looking on the end, I figure, it's time to stop and get a different one. I'm thinking of getting on the auto delivery program from Njoy. Mark says they are dropping in price soon to $14.95. So if you buy 2 you get one free if you opt for auto delvery, that would be $30 for 3, $10 for a pack of 5. I have found their cartridges do last longer than my E-Puffer cartridges and are a better quality. What are you guys' opinion for the best source for e-liquids and cartridges in the US? Also if I go to filling my own cartridges, what material do you use and how do you fill the empty cartridge after pulling out all of the old polyester? |

| How generous of Mark to drop the price....soon to 14.95 (maybe he's reading here) Go to Janty, their carts are $ 8.00, and of better quality, I think. Well they're all about the same.. Who knows, still 14.95 is a rip off. $ 8.00 is a rip off, that's why everyone is topping off their carts. Last edited by sanneke; 07-20-2008 at 04:07 AM. |

| NZ Supplier | I got my syringes from two places, 25ml and 5ml from e-cig.com, they were pretty cheap, 1.99 and 0.99. I also got some 1ml syringes from my pharmacist, they are the size used by diabetics so are usually pretty widely available. You might have to explain or even demonstrate to the pharmacist what you want to do with it, they can be a bit anal about selling them to someone they don't know. You can also buy a 5ml syringe that is marketed as a medicine dispensor, they dont have a needle though. Topping off the cart seems for me to extend the useable life. I suppose it's around about 3-5 complete fills I can get from a core before I squeeze it and chuck it. I get my empty cores from e-cig.com, 0.45 for 5 of them, I reuse the mouthpiece. I'm not sure if the cores from them will fit the mouthpiece from other carts though. If nothing else pulling the unused wadding out of their cores to put into your whichever carts would work too. The first fill for me is always by syringe, that seems to work the best on a unused dry core, from then on I drip onto the wadding to top up the cart through the day. The 25ml syringe without a needle I use to squeeze the wadding to make my infamous melange mixture. The 5ml with a needle I use to either transfer liquid from a stock bottle into my small top off dripper bottle or to fill a number of cores at a time. The 1ml I only use for filling a single core with a new flavour mixture or for measuring out small amounts for a flavour mixing experiment. I generally only make 1-2ml of a mix each time.
