    Default Cutting nicotine mg.

I have a small bottle of 11mg tobacco juice - I want to cut the mg of tobacco in half - I know you buy a bottle of something and I guess you would just add drops of whatever it is to the 11mg juice to cut it down to 5 or 6 mg. Can someone tell me exactly what I would buy and where I would buy it to cut my 11 mg down to 5 or 6mg nicotine. Thanks so much for any info

First things first...Welcome to the forum Now, you will not be cutting the tobacco, as there is no tobacco in e liquid. You will be cutting the nicotine in half. You can do that by using PG (propelyne glycol) or glycerine. Glycerine can be bought at Michael's in the cake decorating aisle. If you want to cut the liquid in half, just add equal parts of each

Okay, so I don't even have to send for the stuff to dilute my nicotine content, just go to Michales (I live near one) and pick up the Glycerine there. Is there a certain brand, strength, etc. that I should be looking for? Thanks so much, thought I would have to order online and wait for shipment!! Again, thanks

Michael's only has one choice of glycerine, but it's a good choice! Wilton brand glycerine, 2 ounce (59ml) bottle, around $2.29, in the cake decorating aisle.

I don't want to beat this issue to death, but did a check on Glycerine and the forum talks about it making the mixture thicker or possibly too thick needing something to water it down with when using to dilute nicotine mixture - is this something I need to understand more about before diluting my nicotine with the Glycerine (from Michael's). Again, thanks for any info

Well, most of the members on this board and me are vaping by cutting with glycerin. So I don't think there should be any worries about it. Only problem will be that you atomizer will not last longer with glycerin unless you follow some maintenance procedures posted on the forum.

And if it does seem too thick you could add a little distilled water (not just bottled drinking water) to thin it down.

Work with little tiny batches, like 5 drops of juice and 5 drops of glycerine, and maybe 1 or 2 drops of distilled water if you think it's necessary, until you find what works well for you.

So when you go to Michael's, stop at the drug store to pick up a jug of distilled water, and maybe an eye dropper if you don't already have one.

Again, thanks for the replies and help - got the glycerine and will get the distilled water tomorrow - anxious to try this out and see if I can do it - this forum has been a lifesaver for everything I wanted and need to know about e-cigs, thanks to all so very much.
