This is what I do to get my 901 atomizer to seat properly.
Roll a strip and insert into empty cart. Then, using a pair of tweezers, pull the center of the roll back up out of the cart and trim off approx 1/4 of an inch from the protruding coils.

Push the roll all the way back down into the cart. The center should now be recessed to leave room for your atty. If it doesn't sit quite right the first time, you can pull the center coils back out and trim until it does. You can also spread the center of the roll with tweezers and loosen or tighten the roll as needed so that it doesn't stick on your atty.

Wow, what a clever way to shape it!

Just a random suggestion that goes along the same line as teabags.
Has anyone considered medical gauze? Reason I'm asking is I just got my wisdom teeth removed, and I have a box of gauze just sitting on my desk. I looked at a piece of gauze and compared it to the Lipton pyramid teabag and it seems to be exactly the same, aside from the material. (The gauze I'm looking at is a Rayon-Polyester blend, although I'm sure there are other varieties.)
Possible Pros: Cheap, Readily Available, Easily Shaped, Mesh Material, Sterile(If anyone's worried about tea-residue), Uh.. can't think of anything else, seeing as it's 4 AM.
Possible Cons: Material(Not sure if Rayon-Polyester is bad, although I'm pretty sure it's not too horrible if the oral surgeon gave it to me to just chew on for a week). Flammable(I suppose I can do some tests to see how flammable it really is). I can't think of anything else for cons.
Does anyone have any input?

I tried tea bags and poly fill, and several different things. Finally ended up dragging out some sterile face cleaning pads. Separated to make two halfs and cut to size making them small for the carts so I have plenty of air flow. Then I fill and I mean fill to where the carts are to the point of being overfull and let them sit over night so the juice will absorb into the material. They have worked well for me and I haven't had a mouth full of liquid since I started using them.
They actually work better after being in the cart for a couple days so I hate to change them out. I do that about every four to seven days, depending on how much they've been refilled.

isjon, funny you say that about gauze, i was thinking the same thing once i started messing with it. i had a bad cut years ago and used a similar gauze that felt JUST LIKE the tea bags, but it was covered in a non stick oil or something. might be worth looking into, but not sure the price would be cheaper. i remember that stuff was pricey!!

I'll have to try the Lipton brand. I tried some teabags from China. Worked ok, but tasted like tea/paper... couldn't handle it. They where brown colored bags.

Flitzanu, a box of 25 3inch by 3inch gauze is 6.99 + tax. A box of 10 2inch by 2inch gauze is like 1.99. I figure it's cheaper than paying for the lipton tea bags, and the tea, which you really wouldn't be using?

I tried the Lipton pyramid bags and they don't seem to work as well for me as paper teabags. Just as well as I feel a little uneasy about lighting up PET plastic.
Paper teabags have been the best filter i've used so far. I can actually taste the real flavors of my liquid now.
I'm itching to try hemp teabags.
