I have taken out and washed the pyramid bags I'm using and inspected them (the only reason I've used more than one is because I like to have a couple of different flavors during the day so I keep a number filled with different things). I haven't found any scorched spots, melted spots or anything. They look exactly t he same as a fresh, unused one does.

I was hoping someone else would also post their independent thoughts on this matter. Most reassuring indeed! ![]() Perhaps its a poor analogy... but I liken the using of the Pyramid Tea Bags to skydiving ... if your observant and pack your chute well you have don't much to worry about.

After using the pyramids for a little over a day, I can say a few things (that have been said before, I'm sure): 1. You can really fill these suckers up...I'm talking 8+drops. 2. They don't seem to burn and/or melt like polyfill sometimes can, so I don't have to worry about an unexpected bad taste. 3. They last for a really, really long time. I've had my cart last longer than a battery (I have a 510.. so I don't know if that's a really big deal). 4. I can actually taste the flavors now, and I never used to get any distinct taste while using poly with my 510. 5. Vapor is great. I'm not too worried about PET stuff, the melting point of PET is a lot higher than polyfill. But I'm keeping my eye out every time I refill. If anyone notices it starting to burn, definitely let me (and everyone else) know. |

With a newly crafted Pyramid filler, I can get ~18 drops of Ecopure into my 510 cart. However mine are just carpet rolled, not folded and I use ~2 lengths PTB (Pyramid Tea Bag). What kind of juice do use?

Bigbob! I'm getting 19 drops to a 510 cart average. (Folded ~ 1 length) Good Prophets JuiceMost times I try for 20 I get a little puddle on top. It might be the added length of PTB accounts for the one drop difference. (I like the PTB acronym by the way. s 'bout time!)

I'll have to try GP juice. Gotta love the acronyms, it makes typing so much quicker.

Few questions about the pyramid bag in a 510 cart 1. Do you cut it flush with the cart? leave it a bit long? a bit short? 2. It seems to work better to fold it. The way i fold one is into a square using 1 full length. then in half lengthwise. then in half 3 times width wise. Then place in cart and trim the length. Ive tried it with a half bag, full bag and 1 1/2 bags. Seems to fit perfect this way with 1 1/2 bags but im worried it might be too tight. I might try 1 1/2 bags and trim then down a tad bit before folding to give ti room to breath. How do you fold it/roll it? How many bags do you use (not counting trimming) 3. Is tighter better or looser better. Or just like with women, its just pereference? |

The rest is trial and error. You'll know best. I believe I posted some picks earlier in the thread. But now the atty's have changed in the 510s, now I trim more. Gotta roll with the changes. I actually measured the components, drew pictures, and did the math to make sure I was making contact without squishing everything. But that's just me.

Well i have a ton of fluval and Pyramid bags so i got creative and messing around with using both. This seems to be working well if anyone else wants to test it out also, Im really new to this so it might be counterproductive. Any newbies might wanna wait for a few more experienced guys to improve on this or disprove of it. =P 1. take 1/2 a lipton bag, fold in half across the width then carpet roll it tight. 2. place it in the middle and stuff fluval/poly down both sides till the tea bag stands up straight in the middle. Leave the fluval about 2-3mm below the edge and cut the tea bag flush with the top of the cart. 3. drip until it puddles. Let it puddle for step 4 4. use a pair of tweezers to grab the tea bag and lift it slowly until the puddle goes away. (not sure why im doin this but im doin it) I have been pretty horrible about over filling carts and flooding my atomizer. havn't had that problem since i tried this. Probally cause im not min maxing the capacity of the cart. Puffs good for 4 drops then takes 4 drops. It feels like the ammount i would smoke 1 cig so im liking it. Still going to mess around with alot of different ways but since nobody else has tried using both ill throw that idea out there for you all to play with. |
