hmm maybe I should try for the carpet roll, I typically use one pyramid, roll it up, and fold it in half... I'm going to go make another right now, and see how that works out. I read that you use two pyramids? I'm going to give that a try and let you know the difference when I EDIT this post. In about five min....

EDIT I got about 15 drops in, I think I may be doing something wrong, but that's still a ton more than I had been getting in (7 drops).

I was under the impression thats what a "carpet roll" was. Is a carpet roll different?

Carpet Roll = Like a long rolled up carpet.
Carpet Roll (Folded) = Just One Guy trying to carrying that carpet.

I'm confused, and I failed trying this. One pyramid bag, and one of my foreign tea bags wasted later. I went back to the polyfill. I have an easier time with those. I didn't notice a longer vape before refill/topping period, but that could just be me totally doing it wrong.

Okay.. hrm:

Rip apart the pyramid so that it's a long rectangle (just rip the seams). take a pen cartridge or a toothpick and roll the pyramid up. Put in cartridge, and clip off the excess... OR roll another pyramid over that one, and then put it in the cartridge (and clip it off as well).

2 works well for me, I clip the 1st to size to touch the tip of the mesh, the 2nd one to the edge of the cart. This kind of hugs the mesh for max wicking. A nice side effect is, since the teabag does not conform to the rectangular shape of the cart, there are passages in each corner that act like the straw mod in other threads. This allows the cars to be topped off more efficiently.

That would depend on many different factors, how much you vape, what kind of juice you use, how hard you draw, how long you hold the button down....I'm sure I'm forgetting some. I clean mine when I get annoyed with topping off, or when I think about how disgusting the chamber near the tip must be by now. Certainly not twice a day...
