I just did two carts for an 801...perfect! This is way better than the spring mod....long lasting, no juice spilling, no springs. I dripped 15 drops into the "cart" before I slid the filler (rolled up) into the cart, then dripped another 5 or 6 in to top it off .....I love it! I used 3/4 of a sheet (cut in half, long ways) in these carts, I'm gonna try a 1/2 sheet next...

Im assuming you're doing the single roll in your carts? Let me know how you like it, and just for kicks, try what I've done with the double rolls, and let me know what you think works better. I'm still experimenting on my end, but so far so good.

Single roll in the 801 carts seems to be just too lose, liquid runs into the atomizer almost like a drip (which is GOOD) but the problem is the liquid will go through to the bottom side of the atomizer. Double roll seems good, but my biggest gripe with all of these wicks so far are the lack of draining the juice from the material good enough. It seems like there's always 4-5 drips of liquid (or more) left in the material when the atomizer starts tasting like it's out of juice. I just don't like wasting any liquid, perhaps my solution is going to become a dripper, I just don't want to deal with the constant dripping to keep vaping.

Just don't use an old teabag that already made tea...you will get a bitter taste from the tea residual in the fabric...use new tea bags only. To test "what the deal is with a new batch of mixed juice?". Just pull off the cart on an 801 and use the ecig without the cart...just drip a few drops into the atty, take the filler out of the "burn cycle", this is a good way to find out exactly what your juice taste like without any "voodoo" from your filler....

So I've been reading this and trying all the different stuffing suggestions... Thanks for all the info people! I think I found my perfect fill here finally!
I'm currently using a SD Mini which is a 901 I think... Have a classic SD too but haven't tried with that yet.
I followed the teabag videos - roll up, fold in half, stuff, trim... I experimented with rolling looser/tighter/etc since I wasn't quite getting it. Tried the regular tea bags and the pyramid teabags.
I finally made a combo - took a pyramid teabag and layed a smaller piece of regular teabag on it and then rolled, folded, stuffed, trimmed. At the last moment I decided to make a snip at the folded bit since it is SO dense I thought maybe a snip would help. I don't know if it makes a difference or not really.
Holy moley!! It made the Best draw I've ever had on my SD... I LOVE the way it wicks but doesn't run, goes longer before I'm topping up and I'm tickled to death!! Used it since last night and it's still just as good as when I started...
Thanks for all the pointers... I'm a really happy camper now

that's the way it goes...keep trying everybody, find the "roll and stuff" you like to get great hits! I'm still playing around with different fold, roll and stuffs.....I folded one like the letter "m" and that made a little valley for the high bridge atty to stick into during the heat up....just make the v part about 1/4 inch deep....works good.....it's the FOLD/ROLL.... thats the key...

I've totally changed my tune on the ptb's. At first, I wasn't really all that impressed, but I've come to realize that using the whole bag makes all the difference. I was cutting them in half before, and that just made a mess.
My method is rolling a bag from both ends, and folding in half, so I end up with 4 separate "tubes". Produces massive vapor and throat hit, and tastes great!
Excellent discovery, guys. This is so awesome!

There's been some recent developments in cart filler materials. Tea bags made of hemp (I use nylon gossamer teabags with
great results, personally), coffee filters, etc.
Since Nylon melts at 350+ F and Polyester melts at 255+ F, I figured it was a smart choice. You heard it here first
Someone else came up with using tea bags in general, but I came up with using rolled strips of nylon gossamer. For one, wicking is out of this world, durable, doesn't melt when touching a really hot atomizer bridge like polyester and washable/reusable. Holds the juice without trying to keep it.
I have been using these the past week or so and they work great, they don't seem to wear out.
i assume the nylon gossamer you're referring to is the lipton pyramids every is using?
i'm trying to find some solid info on the lipton material.
this from another forum on lipton pyramid bags:
"The translucent Pyramid tea bag is made of PET, the same food grade material clear water and juice bottles are made of. As with any plastic, it would not be considered biodegradable. PET is completely safe and is 100% recyclable within the plastics waste stream"
ok. search for pet. wikipedia
Polyethylene terephthalate (sometimes written poly(ethylene terephthalate)), commonly abbreviated PET, PETE, or the obsolete PETP or PET-P), is a thermoplastic polymer resin of the polyester family and is used in synthetic fibers family; beverage, food and other liquid containers; thermoforming applications; and engineering resins often in combination with glass fiber.
seems the burning temp of this plastic is 260 degrees celcius.
what is the temp of the atomizer heating to?
people are referring to the pyramid bags as "nylon" is that the same as pet plastic?
