Higher cost doesn't necessarily mean quality. Defective items can be purchased in any price range.
Great to know. Was thinking of picking a pass though up.

Yea lots of cell phones like the razr use a usb mini plug. Just convert from mini usb to standard. I use the same chargers for my cell phone, GPS, e cig, and ipod. You may be surprised what you already have that will work with a converter your local electronic store.

I have one of my PT's plugged into a PST-15U AC/USB adapter and has been working fine so far (2weeks). They usually go for around $10

Default Check the Goodwill for parts

I found a nice fused Belkin car charger in a bin of "all cables $0.50". Works great with my homemade passthrough. Got a bundle of RCA cables and an extra car charger for my LG cell phone. Everything was $0.50. It was a good day.

I found this picture coffee, it is pretty self explanatory, but you may want to include a resistor to prevent blowing out the atty, some people do, most prolly don't

I bought this one at the suggestion of someone here on the forum:

    http://www.meritline.com/white-usb-c...--p-23613.aspx

It has worked great for the last two months, and it's output is 1 amp, so it produces more vapor than the computer's USB socket. From what I can tell my attys haven't suffered from it.
