Hmmm- shoulda produced something- wondering if though if soemthign was touching outer edge preventing proper connection? Either that or the loong cartridge needs higher Mah's?

If you have another battery that is smaller threads, try putting it into loong cart with one edge touchign the outer edge of cartridge, and keep movign it around until a good connect is made- see if htat works? When I was messing aroudn with mine, I took the middle part out of another perfectly good smartfxx battery thread tryign to make a spacer, ground it down, and got the thing working, but I really had to make sure everythign was aligned just right- if it wasn't, it wouldn't work- After this I got hte idea of just takign a loong thread (out of another perfectly good battery) and soldering it into smartfixx battery- this worked fine until I broke the htreads of hte loong My spacer before this experiement did work, but I couldn't figure out how I was goign to solder it into aa SnartFixx battery and still be able to charge it

ok, i got it working with a some copper wires i took from a flex. twisted them up and put one end in each hole and got it together. the drag was really difficult but i am restricting the air flow some what with the wire in the holes so i would prefer to test it with a copper washer or similar. try and locate one tomorrow. there should be a noticeable difference between a 4.2v and a 4.7v though anyway.

Ah- I hadn't htought of that- good idea- that definately avoids the contact issue in wrong places- you can pop battery cap off too to increase draw a bit- (It just glues back in- no worries.)

went down to a jewelers today who was able to take care of my request. ended up with a small ring which he detached from a spare chain in his workshop. spent a little time on my unusual request finding the right size and refused all offers cash so i was only able to be very grateful. guess i know where i'll be going next time i need a piece which i don't often as i have stopped dressing in drag.

As it was custom sized, it fits perfectly with-out any need for soldering, i will therefor be able to swop it out to other batteries. It works sufficiently though you do have to suck like a whore on a saturday night. also one of the batteries is broken, and as i mentioned before due to the smallness of these in the first place the mah is very low, even lower than the loong batteries which is pathethic at best. still i have me now a couple of back-ups in black so my black leather cod-piece wont clash at the parties...oops i've said too much.

I think you reached that point with the Saturday night bit.
