    Quoting the supplier:
    Features
TBF is the subsidiary material of pyramid Tea Bag. It is made of nylon mono mesh for foods. so it is not torn when it get wet. TBF can make better water flow than existing pulp materials. We can cut TBF to 120mm, 140mm, 160mm and other specific width using the newest slitting machine. Our TBF also can be well joined and cut at ultrasonic machine which is included in other company's Tea Bag packing machine. Our TBF is stable against heat and have very high durability.
    End Quote

They might just cut it so it's the right width to begin with. Looks like you could fill thousands of carts with a role like that.

    Made an inquiry as follows:

    ------------------------------------

    Hello,

We have found this material to be suitable for one of our project designs.

Still doing research and development on it, we hoped to use larger samples.

In regards to further testing, what would the cost be for the smallest roll be.

    Best regards,

Now... We'll just have see what pops into the email inbox.

I just posted in the mod section, that i tied using a web/net by mistake and it works much better than anything i tried.
The net is a bag for fluval filter media.
Silly me , i was trying to buy fluval (the fluffy stuff) , and ended up buying the bag instead.
The net is springlike, so it always presses up against the atty.
It absorbs liquids really well as well as distributes it perfectly.
It's the best i have found so far.

Not a peep yet Flitzanu! I even used my business email address, so it looked a bit more official and also checked to see if anything was in my junk mail.

Perhaps they're just used to selling thousands of rolls to various larger manufacturers (Like LiptonŽ) and are not into dealing with smaller up and coming companies.

Oh well it's Korea... what did we expect.
