Answer: just dont do it if you care about having an accident. I drive for a living, and, well, you get-
-no aim!
-liquid on your hands
-No attention to whats ahead (sometimes)
-yelled at by people behind you
-flooded atty
-e-liquid stains on the upholstery
-a ticket for reckless driving
-the feeling of embarrasment from doing something incredibly STUPID!
Well, you get the picture. Not the best circumstance for getting your nicotine fix. Better to be prepared and go without for (in my case) hours at a time.

I try to fill up before I take off. But I stopped smoking in my car when I bought my new Subaru, so waiting till I get to my destination isn't usually too much of a problem for me.
