I use a shot glass at home some of the time, but most of the time I just leave it sitting on my desk or coffee table.
What's the big deal about the mouthpiece touching a table?

It's part "this is a desk in an office place and you never know who has had their hands on it, and part everything has a place and is in it's place. I can get a little OCD about my desk sometimes.

This was a magnetic pen holder. Now it's an ecig holder.

to have on my person, I've tried assorted marker caps for my penstyle.
the sanford uniball grip top is very secure for the 801/201 top/mouth piece.
(sharpies were too big and bic tops were too small - fwiw)
the old fashioned flair markers work so-so on the bottom piece - not confident that they'll hold up to a lot of movement, tho
as far as on the desk - I use either coffee cup or glass

That's cool, I like it. I wonder if it has an effect on battery integrity though.

I thought about that, but worried that it wasn't wide enough to support the weight.
