It seems to me that for long term storage, the fridge would be good practice. Not certain though. I've got a 30ml bottle from Cash that I've kept in the cupboard - it's still doing well (had it for the last three weeks or so...)

T.W. now carries a "use by date" - a 20ml bottle of 24mg Coffee should be used by 01/10/2011 - perhaps Pillbox could clarify if that's a UK legal requirement or the manufacturers guidlines?
This thread is related so I thought I'd link for anyone interested
Electronic Cigarette Cartridges / E-Liquid Safety
I keep all my liquid in a small box in the fridge, never had any problems.
I left 3 cartridges which i had filled on a piece of kitchen roll on the top shelf of a cupboard without putting plastic caps on them and then forgot about them for a few days. When i remembered about them and went to use them they where dry. Evaporated.
I store my liquid is a ziplock bag, that should help with evaporation.
You guys must either be filthy rich juice horders or lightweights. My liquid never lasts long enough to be an issue!![]()
Does anyone know what the average shelf life of the prefilled cartridges we buy is?
I hav'nt seen a pack yet that has a "best before" date on it.
Wicked Liquid is over 2 years but that is in a glass bottle with a lid on it.
It might be a good idea if suppliers could do the same with cartridges in the current climate.
I keep all mine in the fridge. Amber bottles would be a good idea for the suppliers, too. Also, I'm wondering why the bottles don't carry a safety label? If I was selling these (And I ought to, since I've sent literally at least 200 people to Puresmoker since I started using these- I'd be rich!) I'd label the fluid with something like:
"While the e-liquid in this container provides a tasty and satisfying experience to simulate the act of smoking and will satisfy your nicotine cravings, because of its high nicotine content, it is toxic if consumed in any other manner than vaporizing through your favorite e-cigarette. Store in a cool, dark place, refridgerate for long term storage for best results. Keep away from children, and advise them that this delicious liquid labeled "vanilla ice cream" is in fact a poison, and not vanilla ice cream. Nicotine can be absorbed through the skin, so please use care when refilling your device and wash hands and bottle immediately after use. Wipe any excess liquid from the cartridge. Enjoy!" (add skull and crossbones with e-cigarette dangling from mandible.)
I realize that suppliers walk a fine line and do not want to scare users, but all it takes in the current Big Brother/Soviet climate we live in is one retarded child to take a swig of this stuff and the fun is over for everyone. Like the stupid kid that ruined my "missile firing" Battlestar Galactica" (70's version) by shooting the missile from his Viper down his own throat. I still resent that dead mongoloid and his no-responsibility-taking parents. How was I supposed to shoot down evil Cylons hell bent on wiping out human life with a glued-in missile?
Let's keep these things around as long as possible, huh? With the total lack of personal responsibility, sue-happy climate, along with our heavily armed .gov nannies "protecting" us from ourselves, a little labeling isn't too much to ask, is it?
Sic Semper Tyrannus, and happy vaping!
Just curious if anyone's tried freezing their stockpiles of e-liquid? Would it change properties of the nicotine?
