My 510 just came in the mail today, and I just happen to be an avid tea drinker. Lipton has never been my favorite brand, but recently the hubby brought home a box of those bags, so I have an entire box to waste! I am beginning to feel like a mad scientist with all these mods to try...

Thanks for the info Super, a friend is bringing me the actual Lipton stuff in a day so I will have the real thing soon. So far I had a good luck with the straw mod which I've been using for a while now. Hope this will work even better. Lipton may just get a new customer.

Actually, I just read in another thread that someone said that the PG Tips are made from something other than nylon. So good thing that someone is sending the Lipton ones to you.

hey any of you guys try this tea bag mod on a 801 or on a 901? this would be a great mod for a 801 since the cart is way bigger than a 510 901 cart. If so can someone be so kind and post a video on how to do this thanks.

works perfect in the 901, be careful with pen styles. It may lead to shorting.

I forgot, until I went to the store today. There is another brand of tea that uses the pyramid bags. Well they aren't pyramid shaped, more like a tradition teabag, but they are the same material, called Revolution brand. They are more expensive.
