Stardust tip

I love my stardusts, but a while ago I dropped one on the ground and it started leaking around the base due to small cracks. I took it out of service for a while and then thought what a waste, the thing works great besides the leaking.

Anyways I took a carto condom and cut off one side then slide the condom over the base and bottom part of the tank, covering the cracks. It fits on super tight and seems to make a great seal, no leaks so far the thing works like a champ. I'm sure this had been posted before but just thought I'd share because I'm damn happy I fixed it lol.

lol I have a condom on damn near every clearo and vision tank devise I have. they work great.

You can even change the wick and the coil if you want to. They sell them really cheap at Avid vapor. Very fun thing to do.

Good idea, I'll try that one next time. One of mine leaked from the base also and I sealed it the threads with a small strip of teflon tape.

They're the rubbery caps that new cartos come with
