    Default m401 tips?

Anyone know any good tips for making the m401 experience better than it already is? I am really looking for a good cartridge mod, or perhaps a few tips for refilling and getting the most out of the cart; however if there are some other tricks for them I would like to hear about them as well.

I have a j108b from cigtechs.com already which from what I understand is very similar to the m401, and I prefer the flavor from it over my manual switch 510. The only issue I have is the cartridge life. It seems the only way to get a really good hit is to dip. (which doesn't bother me except while driving to work it can be a bit bothersome/dangerous)

I use my 401 strictly for VG based juices. For me it just can't keep up with PG. It does however work extremely well with VG/Ecopure. It wicks them completely dry, you don't have to wait for the wick to catch up.

401 with VG = No modding necessary

    YMMV

Well I just got my Dragon m401 in yesterday, and I used one of the cartridges it came with seemed to work great. After I dried that one out though I just made one to attempt a coffee filter filler to see how that works.

I do not have any VG based juice, and I just bought 120ml from totally wicked so I'll be stocked with PG bases liquid for quite some time. Can't you get VG from a craft store or something? maybe I can cut the TW juice 50/50 with VG.

    Never mind. Reading is fundamental.

You definitely can cut with VG. I got some at Juicy Liquid with another order and a bottle at Michael's (craft store) you can get polyfill there too. I just like to thicken the runnier juices up a bit (keep from flooding the atty and/or getting a mouthful of liquid), makes for better vapor too. With my 510 sometimes I just put a couple drops of VG on top of the cart filler and fill with PG liquid. It kinda mixes itself. Works for me, I'm done messin with straw mods and the like.

I'm puffing on my M401 Dragon as I type this. I've found the best way to get vapor production out of this thing is by using a passthrough. Batteries are fine for at work or at the bar. But at home in front of the computer, I'd rather save the batteries and use the passthrough. It has constant and steady power to it and produces vapor like a champ. I'd assume this would be the case with just about any PV though. But I know this to be true for the M401. And I don't even have to dip to get good vapor.

I'm using a dragon with the passthrough as well. I only use my batteries when at work, but so far I've experimented with a few methods -- some worked some didn't. So far on of the things that helped was using fingernail clippers to put two notches on either side of the cartridge for an easier draw.

I was dripping last night and possible over dripped because the atomizer just totally quit on me so I'm done with dripping/dipping.
