Not at all. It does not hold in the tea taste like cotton does. Also, just rinse it in water if you are worried. IT cleans in 3 seconds and drys even faster.

Also if you roll it up and fold it just right, it leaves two small hollow areas at the ends that work just like the straw mod.

Thanks, Mooby. Great mod! I was getting very frustrated with my carts: drying up too fast, burning fibers, nasty taste. I was about to buy a whole new set when I found this! YAY. And I happened to have a box of tea bags in the cupboard. Maybe my Riskee Juice will taste better to me now.

its only works with the pyramid tea bags because they are nylon, remember that.

I've been to 3 stores already and not 1 had the Pyramid tea. Any suggestions as to where to find these? I live in Florida.
