Default How many drips to re-prime an atomizer?

How many drips does it take to re-prime an atomizer? I just cleaned mine with one of those electronic water pick devices that happened to be laying around the house (my gf bought one for cleaning around her braces).

Amazon.com: Waterpik Ultra Dental Water Jet: Health & Personal Care

Anyway, I just cleaned it and let it dry, but it seems cleaning it this way cleans it much more thorough than any other method as I found myself adding 6 drips before the atomizer was adequately primed, and then it needed more after only a few puffs. It's working fine now, but I wonder how many drops these atomizers need to avoid burning one up after cleaning.

It's going to vary quite a lot, depending on how much gunk has been removed from the coils. Really best to treat each clean individually.

I usually use two to three drops plus a cart. It'll take a couple of drags before everything is good, primed and circulating properly.

more than u think.. the wire wool around the atomizer has to be fully re-wetted..

a pipe takes about ten drops.. a mini about 4 to 5 drops.. the wire wool holds quite a lot of liquid..

mostly they never get fully emptied.. but if they do it takes a fair bit to re-wet them..

the wire wool feeds the atomizer... the cart simply keeps the wire wool topped up.. or at least its supposed to..

Aye, when someone comes up with a decent delivery method for liquid, we'll all be happy bunnies.
