Intentionally Flooding a New Atty

Just spotted this thread, I have another thread started (should always search before posting) about giving the new atty a hot water rinse. The primer should be water soluble so I don't think PG is necessary.

My current project is to gut a 510 atty that is gunked and refuses to clear. I think seeing inside will he helpful in determining cleaning and recovery methods.

What I am also doing after making that atty go fubar is working between two attys. At the end of the day, the used one gets the hot water rinse and dries over night and through the next day.

Also, I am conscious when I am vaping that I am not heating the atty to the point that it gets warm to hot on the outside. This should reduce solidification of the juice.

Any new attys I get (mostly 510) sit over night in a Vodka bath via rocks glass - next day I rinse well with hot water - blow them out - drain for an hour - and they are great...

Not a big vodka drinker. Do have Tequila and Rum. Will they work or should I just use water method?

Man - not sure - I just figured the white alcohol of the Vodka would work good and it does - have not tried an of my Patron - Smirnoff seemed a little cheaper.. lol - I would imagine it would work the same all are about 80 proof.. Curious how they work let us know if you try.....

LOL! Me either, I prefer to consume it in the usual way. However, I would like to try developing a juice mix with it. Wonder how you say 'throat hit' in espanol?

Be careful with rubbing alcohol I've read elsewhere that if it gets vaporized it is toxic

All of a sudden my tongue is stinging when I take a puff on the atomizer. And it hits the back of my throat and burns. Not a nice "throat hit" but a stinging nasty feeling.

I just started vaping on Wednesday and today has been the first unpleasant day. Is something wrong with the "addy"?

dry throat? try a lozenge or some tea..

Make sure the atomizer is moist, if it's dry you're going to have an unpleasant experience!
