I've been trying various MacGuyver techniques to suit my vaping purposes, and one was to figure out a cap for stealth vaping. I stopped by Lowes (and checked Home Depot, with the same results) and got some screw end caps (made of rubber-like plastic). They work absolutely perfectly.
I got 3/8 inch end caps, which fit snugly and give no trouble taking off. A baggie of three end caps cost me $0.78. The only downside is that the 3/8 inch size only came in a dark green - both at Lowes and at Home Depot. I haven't yet tried it, but I'm sure a black Sharpie could remedy that problem. However, the dark green itself doesn't cause too much of a clash regardless.
They work perfectly - in fact, I bought some at Lowes, and then afterward went to Home Depot to compare, and while I was at Home Depot I stealth vaped with a cap on the battery! It just looked like I was carrying around and randomly chewing on a pen (held the drag in to limit the amount of exhaled vapor).

That looks just like the cover on an RCA female jack on some car stereos. Maybe radio shack would be a place to find at least yellow, red, or white.

What about one of those erasers that you can stick on a pencil? They come in lots of colors.
