Default Found a chemical that cleans atties well...

I tried a few things to find something that works for atties.

Well, using rubber gloves, dripped into the cart-end of the atty a bit of .12N Sulfuric Acid (for total alkalinity testing pools) and counted to 10, then rinsed it well, repeated 2 more times, both times letting it sit about 10 seconds then rinsing well... rinsed it some more to make certain I had the acid off, then dried with a hair dryer and it tasted and vaped like new.

Do NOT try X14 mildew stain remover... it ate the filament on a different atty.

Vinegar didn't do so well unless it sat overnight; vodka made one taste better, but it didn't produce more vapor and it quickly got gunked up again; beer did nothing; coke was slightly less effective than vinegar; fresca was as-effective as vinegar; plain water was about the same as beer...

still have several more things in the pantry to try... but that's my results thus far. I'd have more things tested, but I can only seem to gunk them up just so fast. (And FYI, a 510 battery lasts about an hour when vaped on by a previously 3-pack-a-day smoker)

Have you tried to frequently rinse atty with PGA so gunk has little chance to build up?

I have been vaping a year and so far I have been able to clean with H2O, H2O2, PGA and and a few very quick dry burns.

I may try diluted H2SO4 and HCl if all else fails.
