You shouldn't go through a 15ml bottle in 5 days...... in E-Cigarette Technical; I used a smaller NPro for a few weeks, but got tired of the seemingly constant filling, so went to ...

I used a smaller NPro for a few weeks, but got tired of the seemingly constant filling, so went to an 801 (penstyle, now have a Janty Stick) and I can go for 2-3 hours before I have to refill. I cannot imagine having to keep topping off after 3 drops are gone, would make me crazy and wouldn't get anything else done.
You apparently are over-filling or vaping too fast or pulling (puffing) too hard, pulling more juice out of the cart than your atty can get sufficiently heated. If this is wrong, just ignore it, but you shouldn't be strapped to your juice bottle the way it sounds you are. That is all I'm saying...take very slow, long, gentle puffs for best vapor production.
Sounds like you're frustrated, I would be too!! You should be getting at least 8-10 great big puffs of vapor before re-filling on even the smallest carts, way more as with an 801 cart. Maybe you also need to tic up your nicotine a bit, may help you to slow down your puffs per minute a bit. And be more satisfied with a slower pace.
Faster, harder puffing just dries the part of the filler closest to the atty, if you space out your puffs more and puff more gently, you'll find it a little more efficient and use up the whole cartful. Burning is not a good thing as you know.
I've never been into "dripping" or "dropping", I want a nice efficient e-cig, with good battery/atty connected with a cart that's got enough capacity to gently feed enough juice to the atty and give me a nice satisfying big puff for a sufficient number of puffs. Frustration is best avoided that way, that was my goal, to tame down the Panic Factor. Be able to slow down and relax with my new toy.

Mallie, try switching over to the Lipton Tea Bags in the Pyramid style (a gossamer material similar to organza). Works great in the 510 with no worries about scorching anything (even a straw is ok... I use the plastic q-tip straws since they're tiny, but since using the PTB mod, don't need them!).

There are great videos on using them. I use the folded top method that seems to bring the liquid to the top where it sits on the bridge and it wicks well!

The PTB can be rinsed and reused. It is great stuff (have a cup of tea, then empty it out, rinse and use it for your 510. Yummy Tea flavors!)

how long before they need to be re-juiced?
i've heard a lot about this mod, and others.
but my supplier warned me against messing with this stuff too much..
I don't want to have to buy any more replacement parts just yet

Nah, no worries. If anything it will help to keep your atomizer wet, which means a long life for it. I have yet to lose a 510 atomizer (4 plus months).

Everyone vapes differently, so I can't tell you how long. When vapor drops off, or starts to change flavor, add liquid! Also, if you get into the habit of adding one drop on to the atomizer bridge each time you refill a cartridge, you'll always have a well running atty and never experience a harsh or burned taste.

You really should try the straw mod. I used to have to top off my 901 way too often but now it will take 7-8 drops and I can puff til its nearly dry. Just cut the straw short enough that it can't reach the atomizer, no worries about melting plastic!

okay, i thought i was nuts seeing some of these numbers, till I got to this post. I'm about 2 weeks in, and not quite half way through my first 30ml bottle! I can't imagine the amount of vaping needed to go through 6ml in a day! I just went away for 2 days, brought one 6ml bottle with me, and didn't get through half of it

I had a real bad time with atty flooding... started out with standard fuzzy crap in my carts; went to PTBs, but the flooding persisted. I started using the PTB plug thing and the flooding issue is now totally gone. No more leaking, no more gurgling. For a time I thought that gurgling noise from the atty was normal LOL...

haha, I knew it was wrong, I just didn't know how hard it was for my atty to vaporize it. I don't ever have the gurgle anymore..

It might also be that the stock filler in the cart might be too tight....
I have reloaded mine with fluval, and it's much looser than the factory origianls... (My theory is that it is just in there to keep the eJuice from falling out anyway!)

If you want to try to loosen up the wadding, take it out and cut one third to one half off lengthwise, and stick it back in (I use tweezers)...
