You shouldn't go through a 15ml bottle in 5 days...... in E-Cigarette Technical; know what you mean, mallie, but i don't really find it to be much of a bother now that it's ...

know what you mean, mallie, but i don't really find it to be much of a bother now that it's become part of the ritual, so to speak.. when i smoked i *always* had a lighter in the "fifth" pocket of my jeans/shorts that i had to take out to light up. now i just keep one or two little 1/2 oz bottles there instead.. cart stays in my mouth, drip drip, and i'm good to go. all about preference though, so do whatever's most comfortable for ya.

and no, i've (luckily) yet to flood an atty. i do vape a lot of dark juices made with candy oils though, and when i was using filled-carts i found that no matter how much i monitored and tried not to overfill them, the draw would ultimately tighten up considerably after a couple days due to the build up of those hardened oils. hence, i prefer dripping now because every time i vape i can expend whatever juice i put into the atty--leaving no residual to gunk things up.

when things start lookin' down for my atty (taste/draw) i blow into the atty from the battery side. clears it out, chemical free!
that's pretty much the only maintenance i do on it, and this seems to be the more preferred method according to many posters on the forum. i've tried the baths etc and they all seemed to screw my atty up worse. this works great for meee.

How I care for my atties:

When they don't seem to be hitting correctly, I hit the attie without a cart until it is clear.

If that does not work, I blow through the battery end.

If that still does not work, I store it battery end up and switch to a different one. By the time a couple hours have passed, it usually decides it missed me and wants to work again.

Still having the same flooding problem. I'm using PTB. Where is this 'plug' PTB?

EDIT: found. It's Rho mod, and I was already using it but there is still some flooding. Maybe the contact with the atomizer mesh is too much.
How much the filling must be recessed in a dse901 cartridge with an arched atomizer?. and with the spiky one?

i dont have the 901. but i am using the 306 with the little cap inside that drops down and holds the filler.
im using the PTB and it is really working great for me. bought a new e-cig because of the taste issues i was having on the 510, but this seems to have fixed my problem!

oh right, what i meant to respond is that my PTB still sticks out of the cart, its out far enough that my atty pretty much just goes snugly into it. very nice vape. make sure you do the double roll this works great for me. have yet to have any leakage problems...

if i misunderstood your question and answer it wrong, im sorry, otherwise, i hope this works for you!

to the original poster, why is it wrong to go through any amount at all, if someone is using very low nic or none at all then what does it matter how much someone wastes, besides cost or screwing up the atty I dont see anything wrong with people using any amount they feel.

Unless there is some hidden danger that you didnt explain.??

I'm new to vaping & currently have a Volcano ecig (l88b model). I plan on using the blue foam mod & filling with juice. Generally I smoke about 5 analogs worth, or 1 - 2 stock carts. Can anyone tell me approximately how long a 10 ML bottle of juice should last me?

15ml in 5 days is 3ml/day, that is an utterly unremarkable amount. I constantly flooded my atties until recently, and still sometimes do, so I became very good at getting them going again It's fairly simple, especially on a 510, which is very good at getting itself free again.

If it vapes fine, it's fine.
If it does not, check the threads for leaked fluid. Clean them with a paper towel, remove the cart, and vape it untill there is noticeable less vapour. Put the cart back on, and you are fine to go.
In those rare cases where that doesn't work, blow out the liquid, you can do that quite gently, since you don't want to get it all out, but just what is too much.
Occasionally, give your atties a hot shower under hot tap water, blow out afterwards, let it dry, re-prime with 3-5 drops of liquid.

I use the Fluval+Straw mod, very easy to make, best compromise between flow of liquid, ease of making, ease of use, ease of refilling. Can't find the thread here atm, but pictures on my page should explain it well enough.

Vote in the polls, vapers, we need numbers!

Hi, Ashfont, I mix my own juices and also use a Volcano in rotation with my other units. I use a pen spring mod (cut down and under a small bit of the filler). I was a pack a day smoker and 10 ml of 25 mg/ml juice lasts me about 2 weeks. I must also note that I also use Camel snus.

    Default Vape Juice

That sounds pretty decent. Hopefully I can get about 2 weeks worth out of mine, but I suppose it will naturally take some trial and error. Thanks for the info!
