Im very new to vaping im rockin a 510 and the best thing ive found is read everything you can find on the 510, carts, mods, tech, etc my very noobish advice is take it very slow see what works and what dosent, dont rush it im starting to get the hang of things. Like i said tho before i even got mine in the mail i was on here reading all the good bad and ugly about the 510 different ways to do this and how to fix that. Happy vaping |

One thing I figured out about the straw mod - make sure you don't have too much filler in it. I take about 1/4 - 1/3 of the filler out when I put the straw in. And make sure it sits BELOW the top of the straw. Also, take the filler out and rinse it out and dry it every once in a while. The liquid sometimes thickens up over time and sticks to the filler. To the OP - you know it needs to be refilled when the vapor production is low and you get a dry/burnt/chemical taste. I like the PTB mod, but if you are not careful, you will flood the atty very easy with it. But i like that. It is almost like dripping when you do it, you just have to remember to not draw too hard, or you will get juice in your mouth , and it does not taste as good that way. |

One tip I will share on filling the 510 cart works well for me. I fill it all the way up until juice pools at the top. I then wad up a tissue and wick that liquid up by touching it to the filler. I do this twice for a newly filled cart. No flooding problems since I began this. |

Also, after I've topped it back off, I use the paperclip or toothpick to pull the filler back up flush with the cartridge body. I know that the bridge will push it back down.. and that's OK. I just want to make sure that the bridge is touching the filler. | |
