No, I guess the point is to not have to swap batteries so often. If these things work all day, then you would treat it like a cell phone and only charge it at night. My deal is I go to the charge 4-5 times a day. So if im out them im either screwed because I dont have 5 batteries or Im bringing 3 different e-cigs. This tethered solution seems to be less discrete but when you need it, it is there. My hope is if it works, then the added voltage will also increase the heat, thus the flavor.
