|  I found a use for my ashtray
A friend gave me this ashtray over a decade ago. I've always liked it, but it's too small to actually use. Not anymore.  |

She did not. She glazed it, it was sitting in her mother's workshop. I don't think her mother made it, since it doesn't look like anything else her mother made. I haven't seen anything like it since, and lost touch with them years ago.

Looks good with the copper. It reminds me of a small ashtray a student made me when I was teacher's aide years ago. I cherish it and couldn't think of ever putting out a cig in it. Would be great if it would fit my 510 in it but too small.  I like your avatar!

Wish I could use my ashtray for that purpose but my husband still smokes analogs (he doesn't like the PV and won't switch). So I still get to deal with dirty, stinky ashtrays all over the house

My ashtray is just a plain ole black thing---the important stuff is in it.
