my 510 tastes much better..... nothing special done to it or anything.......
So, I was really hating the 510, terrible taste all the time. I ordered a different type of e-cig and this one came with a PCC (I have one for the 510 as well) and my instructions told me to put the atomizer when not in use battery side up. I was doing it backwards in my 510 because it wouldn't fit the other way. There is a little plastic stopper in my case that was preventing this. Now, I was never told the proper way to put it in, and im sure there's got to be a reason for this plastic stopper, but i took the dang thing out and turned it around. a few days with my new e-cig, and im missing that bad ass throat hit. I don't care what it tastes like, I just neeeeeeeeeed it. so I reassemble the 510. and, damn. This tastes sooooooooooooo good. At first I figured it was because I went a few days without using it and the juice just soaked in to the atty a bit and produced that flavor. But i've been vaping in for two days now, and it still tastes amazing. Now, who can tell me why it's supposed to be turned the other way? and, if i was just a dumb ass who always had it in the wrong way and everyone else out there gets this amazing flavor without the throat burn or anything. i know a lot of people complain about the taste of the 510, and i was right there with them, but those that don't, is this why?

Letting the atty drain makes a huge difference, and it needs to be battery-side-up to drain.
In a PCC, since the idea is that you're going to take out the atty and use it, you want the battery side down so liquid flows from the cart into the atty. But a PCC isn't meant for long-term storage, it's meant as a portable way to carry vaping supplies for the day (or at least the next few hours).
So keep the attys battery-side-up when you're not using them, but when you're stocking up a PCC for the day it's OK to have the atty battery-side-down in the PCC with a full cart attached to it (and a couple more full carts ready to switch out).
