M401 (Bridge Atty Faulty?)

Sounds good guess i'll try it but it does look awfully big lolx.. But what about atty lifespan? got any advise on your personal option on the lifespan of the atty?

The Prodigy V1 (as in version 1) is not currently available. Puresmoker is redesigning it (version 2, maybe?). You might be able to find a used one for sale if you ask around. The Prodigy was available as a 5 volt device using 2 RCR123 3 volt batteries and also (less common) as a 3.7 volt device using 1 18650 battery. The 5 volt version performs differently than a standard 3.7 volt device. The Prodigy had adapters for 801, 901, and 510 type atomizers. At one time, they also listed M401 adapters, but I don't know if they ever actually produced them.

Puresmoker does currently offer the Protege, a smaller (but still large) device that uses 1 AA size 14500 lithium battery at 3.7 volts. I just ordered a Protoge kit myself with the 901 adapter and a spare 501 adapter. Due to the smaller size of the Protoge, I think the 801 atty would be overkill but it is offered as an option. The 901 is primarily known for having better taste, while the 501 is primarily known for producing more vapor. The choice is up to you. Or you could get both like I did. Check the Puresmoker sub-forum under "Supporting Suppliers" for more information. They will be happy to answer any of your questions there.

Puresmoker is currently waiting on the next production run of Protoges, but they do allow pre-orders. I expect you would have to wait 2-4 weeks to receive one, so if you are in a hurry the Protoge is probably not for you. It's also expensive at $115 for the full kit. If you're just starting out, you may want to go with a less expensive alternative. A starter kit for the 801, 901, or 510 can be had for under $50 and any of them would be good starter units. Most people (myself included) started with an inexpensive starter kit. Some of us then moved up to more advanced devices while others were content with the standard models.

As to atty life on the Prodigy, I have had my Prodigy since July and have only burned out 1 801 atomizer so far, but I haven't been using it continuously because I like to swap between devices quite often. I use my Prodigy primarily with a penstyle (801) atomizer. The atomizers that Puresmoker sells are true DSE801s with the "high bridge". They do not work well with cartridges but are ok for dripping. You can get RN4072 or BE112 "low bridge" atomizers that will work much better with cartridges. The BE112 from Best E-cigs seems to be built much sturdier than the others.
