I'm on my first 2 510 attys that I bought 4 months ago. Never clean them.

I've gone through plenty of batteries, but the attys keep going strong.

edit: an atty is the part that heats up to vaporize the juice. It's the part between the battery and the cartridge on a 3 piece (510, 801, 901, etc...), or inside the cartomizer on a 2 piece (808, etc...). Oh...atty is short for atomizer.

Thank You M3Taylor. I will check the resistances on my atty's when I get home from work today.

    Hi Helen,

I hadn't seen this post. It should be required reading for noobs. It covers it all. I wish more users would use the search here on the forum. It would save a lot of time and energy.

Is a white flash in the cart a sign of a dead atomizer? Mine is a 3 piece model E-Health brand.

vapor on my 510 started getting less than what it used to produce...am not sure if my atty is getting weaker or if it is my battery...havent tested the reading on the atty (will try later)...but i tested my battery and it reads around 3.2 to 3.3 volts...can someone pls validate if this is the normal reading...

    thanks

A fully charged stock 510 battery should read close to 4.0 volts. A reading of 3.2 to 3.3 is weak especially if it is fully charged.
