Discovered a neat trick with 510
I get kind of tired of having to top off carts even when using the PTB mod. I found that if you gently blow into the cart while it is connected to the atty that it will cause a little more liquid to wick down. I found it helpful for those times when I can't top off immediately. Don't blow really hard or you may slightly flood the atty as I found out the other day.
I'm new and still learning about the intracacies of these devices so I thought I would pass this on. Thanks.

PTB=old news and wasteful. Takes too much time to "get it right" with rolling it.
Blue foam plug is the new hotness, search on here. Or just head to a pet store and pickup the Marineland Size U blue foam in the fish tank aisle. Cut into strips as wide as the widest opening of your cart and twice as long as the opening length wise, fold the piece over onto itself and stuff it into a filled cart with flaps in. Done.

Well, there is definitely a learning curve with e-cigs. If someone is finding ways to make their vaping experience more pleasurable, then Kudos to them !! Find what works for you and be happy.

Mmm.. when you blow in a 510 cartridge the air exits through the side holes (where the external flat sides of the wick tip meets the remaining round portion of the cartridge) not passing through the filling at all. So you're blowing air right on the atty. I don't see how it would wick down some liquid. Maybe you just had liquid trapped in the air passage which got spilled on the atty when you blew in it.
I use that trick to clear the air passage when a bit of liquid reaches my mouth (happens occasionally when i direct drip or over fill the cart).

I'm about to leave for the pet store right now to buy some blue foam plug to try "The Slug" mod :P

If you blow into the cart you will cause juice to leak out of the air holes. If you use an auto battery it will kill it. Blowing into the cart should be only done with the battery unattached.

I second, third, and fourth that! I think the spring/plug mod may be the single best mod I have seen so far.

I tried it with my Envy
Thanks Queevil, for sharing your trick. I'm a newbie, and my first and only e-cig is the Envy (using it for about 1 month now, with their 18mg nicotine full flavor tobacco or full flavor menthol). Anyhoo, I've been using your trick for 3 days and I love it. I don't drip or anything. I tried your trick to see if it would produce a little more vapor. Well, it works like a charm. One soft blow into the cartridge, and up to an hour later it's still kicking out extra vapor. So, I shared your trick with my husband (he started the e-cig journey with me...hehehe) and he loves it too. Thanks again.
