Wv--The flooding occrs most often when topping off which I gave up on months agodue to flooding issues. If you use a syringe or an inkjet refiller and stick it all the way down the cartridge and refill from the bottom up till it is moist but on pooling, then you are good to go. If you pool, back the syringe out a pit.

You know you are overheating the atomizer if you actually feel it hot. It should only run warm otherwise take a break and let it cool down a bit--Sun

Sun - I just received my 901 yesterday at 5:00 p.m. I can tell this is going to take some experimenting. Like most, I suppose, I'm trying to find a way to closely resemble analogues. But from what I have learned on this forum, the user must consider the following: nic strength of cartridge and/or liquid, strength of battery charge, condition of atomizer, brand of e-liquid, whether to drip or top off or both, how much to drip or top off, whether the cartridge is too dry or too wet, whether the atomizer is too dry or flooded. Did I miss anything? At least I have you and other forum members to ask for help. How long did it take you to get to the point that you knew what you liked and got you off the analogues?
