Its great to hear from experienced carto users, I have only been using them for a week, and was wondering how it compares to the usual methods... wondering if I was missing out on a 'better' experience.

So far I am loving the cartos, the main reason I didn't get them sooner was because I looked into the "how-to refill a carto" vids and it just looked tedious pulling the end cap off with that hook thing, or inconvienient carrying around a needle.

The very first time I filled a carto I did it this way as I didn't have any other options except:

I was just going to pull the dripper top off a bottle of liquid and toss them all in to soak.

.... it probably isn't that bad of an idea either.... if you put the cartos in an empty bottle and just keep adding juice untill they are saturated, give them a shake and tip them all out! I could fill 20 in about 10 seconds.... omg.... I am going to make a vid.

Wow! Can it really be this easy.....just filled two blanks.....less mess than I have ever had.

I wonder what happens to the juice between the end cap and the O ring? Does the juice get to the inside?

If this turns out to really work, and so far I see no reason why it would not, great find.

i'm confused, why is this easier? to drip the liquid into the cap then insert the carto into the cap to "suck" up the liquid...or just drip the liquid directly into the carto. Exactly what is the advantage to doing it this way, dont you get alot of excess in the carto and just have to blow that out? I know i get some excess and blow that out when filling directly into the carto. I fear wasting liquid this way.

Actually, you don't get any excess you have to blow out. Using 1/2 to 3/4 of a cap full fills an "Empty" carto perfectly. Driping into the carto either from the batter end or the cap end, or injecting doesn't fill it as much as this method.
