Thanks for posting that Mactavish. (and the kind words)

I was trying to follow the spinning thread to see if it was worthwhile doing that.... for me it is not really as I like to know that the carto is not at total saturation point, this way there should be no leaks or gurgling or waste, although I remember some initial reports said they could fit no-more in after spinning others could get a few drops.
I did save a new empty carto and plan to do a test myself, just to see how far from that total saturation point a regular fill will achieve. (I would be happy with -3 drops)
I also set a power-drill up in my kitchen to test a centrifugal spin (spin liquid to outer wall) vs the Taryn Spin. (spin liquid to battery end) but am waiting on more empties to arrive.

It seems rather unnecessary, but I would still like to know just how close it comes.

    also:

Thank-you! to everyone else posting back too, it really adds cred to the method.

Thanks for posting the videos, very informative. Off to try the drill spin centrifugal force method.

What a cool refill method. I am most definitely going to try this. Thanks for posting..........

Tried this method last night. Works great for me! I had my original starter kit cartos pre-filled with marlboro juice (also received an ounce of marlboro liquid with it) After vaping on the pre-filled, I was dissapointed with them. decent flavor, but no vapor when exhaling. So my starter kit cartos have been sitting around on vacation....decided it must be the juice that i didn't like. Well, after finding this thread, I gathered up a couple of those cartos, rinsed them out and blew em dry...and then filled em up with that starter juice using this method. All I can say is WOW! This juice isn't so bad after all....I think it may be my favorite now, as a matter of fact. So thank you for resurrecting my starter kit cartos, and looking forward to resurrecting some of the other pre-filled I have bought since then (that didn't have decent flavor or vapor). I am thinking I will never buy pre-filled again....just empties and juice.
    Thanks Again!

I just got some blank cartos in the other day and tried out this method today.

The first one, I placed 0.5 ml juice in the condom. After pushing the carto all the way down, I saw no evidence of overfill, so I added 0.2 ml more juice and the carto sopped it up, for a total of 0.7 ml.

I tried it with another blank carto. This time I just started with 0.7 ml in the condom. I got just past half way down and started seeing juice come out of the hole.

I was using a difference juice with the second one ... one with a higher viscosity. So, I let the carto/condom stack sit there for a few minutes and then tried to push down again ... no go, that second carto won't drink anywhere near as much juice. What's up with that?

Anyway, I haven't tried the slacker yet. The first one vapes great!

I think you answered your own question, no? The "thicker" juice itself. If both cartomizers were the same brand, and NEW, they should hold the same amount, so the juice was the only difference, correct? I have been able to squeeze a few more drops in of my "PG" juice, by waiting till the juice begins to "peek" out of the atty/batttery hole, removing condom with juice. Then juice holding my fingers on both holes and shacking up/down in my hand, then pushing a bit more fluid up again from condom. The shacking moves it around inside carto a bit, about the same amount as the "spinning" did, but without going through that trouble.

On Cartos that I have reloaded this way, it's a little more tricky, as you don't want to suck the carto completely dry, not good if you want the atty to last long, so I tend to REFILL before it is completely empty. I have read of someone using 15 drops in the condom, I have found I can get 12 in, then shake, and then get the additional 3 drops in. A NEW-EMPTY carto seems to take 20 drops from a 30ml plastic bottle drip. Those who open the cartos, removing the plastic cap and rubber grommet, and manually add their juice, and then spin em, have reported getting up to 30 drops in, sometimes spinning more then once. The extra time and work is not worth it to me, I like the QUICK and EASY refill method, even though I am not able to MAX fill. Still seems like the condom refill method floods the whole carto, can only assume the spinning pushes the juice into place inside the carto that pushing it it does not reach, but no big deal to me.

The pre-filled NEW cartomizers always seem a tough draw at first, and don't seem to last long. Get more vape time after a condom refill with my own juice. I couldn't find much info on 6 volt cartomizer vapeing so I tried it with my GGTS mod. (2) x 3.0 volt LIFEPO4 batteries, on both a NEW pre-filled carto, and on refilled cartos. Figured if it blew the atty, no big deal I'd just throw it away. But I was SURPRISED how great it works. Much more vapor, can take much shorter draws, less time, less time the atty is heated up. I know others have done this, some reported they felt the vapor was a little more "harsh", but I found it working great on FRESH refills, good flavor, great vapor. You just get less time overall before needing to refill, you go through the juice FASTER at higher voltages I guess. It even made vaping a fresh new PRE-Filled carto vape better, less "sluggish". The atty's in these cartomizers may be cheaper overall, compared to the atomizers we buy separately, but they seem to be made very well, so as not to anger folks that buy them, they seem to be able to take the EXTRA "voltage" very nicely. Maybe over the long term, they might not last as long, but I've been vapeing at 6 volts on the same one for a few days now, and it's been great. If you have a Mod and can go 6 volts, or a passthrough that can do 5 volts, give it a try!

Dogsbody - I was really skeptical about this, I saw loads of reasons for disaster. I was wrong, this is a great refill method. I do my "wash and refills" on Sunday with your method. I still may take a small bottle of juice with me for "topping off" now and then but I don't need to top off as much.

Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to share your ideas. You've helped a lot of people.
