    according to the instruction manual, about 4-5 days for a full charge (yikes!). but it does include a usb cord for charging (around 5 hours). personally i think this would be a good alternative to a car charger as you'll free up the DC charging plug for other things.

    I'm looking for a solar powered charging solution for my upcoming kayak expeditions this summer. At the end of the day I may just go for a mod and a bag of batteries though.
