I already conceded that it a matter of opinion, but what about the support, thats not up to suggestion. I never attacked anyone over their opinion, but it seem when anyone says anything bad about the evo some peeps get offended.

    besides......he started it first. LOL

I don't think that people get offended - it's just that when you say "Evoo sucks" there are those of us who disagree who like to put our point of view to balance things out. The more differing opinions we get the better - it all helps!

What part dont you understand, I think evo sucks........you stated before that you dont have any other type anyway, dont even have a 901. So I can see why you dont understand.

I can see that if you like a light cigarette like Marlboro lights then you probably would like the evo, but if you were a full flavor smoker like me and I used to smoke Newports then the evo just wont cut it. All Im doing is giving plenty of warning, and the support isnt good at all I called left messages, emailed and still no response.

But Terraphon you really dont have much to give an opinion, not trying to flame you...but this is the 3rd time you stated you dont understand.
You're right, I have no basis of comparison as far as e-cigs go. I don't own a 901 or an 801 or a screwdriver or any other e-cig model. What I DO have, however, is the knowledge of what it feels like to smoke Marlboro Red 100's for 20 years and I speak from experience when I say that *MY* evo has as much throat hit, with good liquid, and MORE throat hit with some liquids than a Marlboro ever did.

What I don't understand is how you are feeling like you're not getting ANYTHING at all. Most of the 401 owners I'm aware of and ALL of the 401 owners I personally know (4, at this time) state that the throat hit on their evo/pilot is great. They love the vapor production they get from it and the feeling it gives them of smoking an actual cigarette.

What I don't understand is how YOU seem to be having such a hard time getting in contact with them when I can send them an email and have them get back in touch with me very quickly. Same day if I email them during their working hours, next day if it's off hours.

What I don't understand is why literally EVERY SINGLE POST you've made, at this time, is in an evo related thread. Every...Single...Post...You've made is about how much you dislike the evo or intellicig. You own a 901 but you're not posting in any of the 901 threads. You have no posts in juice review threads, sharing your opinions there. You have no posts in the new users forum, introducing yourself. You have no posts anywhere on this board except for in the evo threads. This smacks of propaganda, to me.

At this point, you have no credibility here. You are, for all intents and purposes, an anti-401 propagandist who is working on building a web-site where he'll sell 901's or 801's or joye510's or another generic model and feels the need to open up some market share.

What I don't understand is why you don't understand all of that.

Also, nice straw-man. It won't work on me, though.

Your right the Pilot gets good reviews not really seeing anything negative coming from the Pilot.

I will say that I had issues charging the evo at first, and now Im getting a slightly better hit. Sitll not good to me. I own a TW super mini and Evo is better. But I just dont like super minis. Evo has good vapor production ....but I like a strong hit. To me Evo dont cut it.

My post on Evo so far dosent make my experience irrelevant. Dont worry I'll get to other posts on other threads but Im focused on this now. I can see if you dont understand, no need to attack what you dont understand. You started out attacking, saying you dont understand, implying that Im not genuine.

Lets back this up and be kool about it. Im just about info ...thats all.

And Its good you have had a good response from intellicig, But everybodys experience is different.

I not getting into the petty back and forth tho, you made your response about the number of posts, thats important to you, not me, and I'll just leave it at that.

I contacted John at Intellicig about this today. He indicated that newer computers disable power to a USB port that has no draw on it. This is specific to the new style stubby charger. Once there is no draw from the charging, power is shut off to the port so the LED can't light. The battery still charges.

His suggestion was to give it 30 - 60 minutes charge time to ensure a full charge.

I wonder why I didn't think of this before - it makes perfect sense. I was having the EVO charging problem on my computer USB. Thought it might be bad batteries so I bought a 110v adaptor and the batteries lit up just fine. The computer seems to charge them OK, so John's explanation seems good to me.

Randall - what is the power output of your AC / USB Power adapter? I'm wondering if computers put out either more or less power than the wall adapter...

I've actually modified one of the new micro chargers to see if I can get it to light off of the computer...

I was charging up a battery on my laptop earlier but because I wasn't using the laptop it was going in to sleep mode. I noticed when I put it back on the evo flashed 5 times. This happened several times but later it didn't and I was thinking it must be fully charged and that's why it didn't flash. Thought this would be a good way of telling if it was fully charged or not but it doesn't seem to be working with the battery I've got charging now. It doesn't flash when returning from sleep mode but does so if I remove the charger from the usb port and plug it back in. I would've thought it would've been charged by now though.

I've posted this elswewhere before, but if your Evo batteries aren't charging well, it could be because the connectors on both the charger and battery are dirty (seems to be a build-up of e-liquid that has leaked through) - clean 'em both up with a damp cotton bud/q-tip and charging should be much better. I've also noticed that when charging successfully, the metal part of the charger should be pretty warm. If I've screwed a battery in and it remains cold, I go in with the cotton bud and that sorts it.
