I know there's already a thread (and a video) about re-stuffing but after HEAPS of requests, I did a new recording showing an up-close and detailed process for re-stuffing 401 carts. The process addresses the fraying and fuzzy bits as well as how to fluff the batting before rolling it (for best effect), how to best get it into the inner cartridge, refilling the cartridge with liquid and topping it off and the easiest way to get the cartridge back in to the mouthpiece as well as how I react when someone gets knocked out during the fights. I hope this will help to answer the numerous questions I've gotten on the subject. Here's the video! |

I got to get me some of that. I could cry at the thought of all the carts I've binned just 'cos the filling went crappy! Nice video btw, I do that thing with screwed up kitchen roll cleaning out the cart! | |

I received a delivery of thse yesterday, saw this post and thought I'd give it a go. There are 4 pads in a box of approx 3" x 2.5" and 1/2 " in thickness. I cut of half thickness of a cart sized piece and fluffed out the fibre, refulled the cart, topped off and it is vaping very well. I have found that a lot of carts do not have enough filling and this causes leaking into the mouth; however, being able to cut the filling to your preference, it can take a little more liquid and I have not yet got a mouthful of fluid. So far so good; I'll keep an eye on how long it lasts before becoming unusable but this looks like it's going to work and it should last a long time for a good price. Very nice video Terraphon, thank you.

You're welcome, everyone. Glad I'm able to help. As for the filling, I just got mine at Wal-Mart (ASDA in the U.K.). It's called "Premium Polyester Fiberfill" and came stuffed in a bag about the size of a bed-pillow. I've heard the fluval works just as well, though. Maybe I'll pick some up and do a comparison. |

Gotta get me some of that fluval. I've bookmarked the link, so I'll definitely be using it. Never having to buy any more cartridges sounds great to me.
