I have all high nics carts and juice, so I have to order me some PG and cut to 9mg or less.
I might even put real low 2 or 4mg in special or marked carts for chaining on the laptop or for fun.

Add me to the list of chain vapers. I do find that it helps if I leave my vapor stick in another room and force myself to only vape in there.

3 weeks on, I still find myself sticking my minipipe in my mouth, and then rummaging through my pockets with a sinking feeling that I've forgotten my lighter. I don't know how long it's going to take to reprogram myself with the simple reflex to just suck (hopefully that will happen before I accidentally set fire to it, or smash it on the back step trying to knock out the ash!)

This thread is great for making me feel not alone. I too have noticed that I don't put it down enough. That is a good idea about the 0 nic but seeing how I vape 24 or higher I might have to drop to 6mg.
Yes I'm addicted to the process as much as the nicotine. I do want to reduce the nic. Today is a full 30 days since my last analog! I just realized that.
Congrats to all those who have just quit the annies and welcome to those I haven't welcomed yet. Don't worry about the questions. We've all been there.

I disassemble my 901 and put it in it's case after a cigarette's amount of time puffing. It kinda gives the smoke a beginning/middle/end: assemble, smoke, disassemble/pack away. Whenever I have to go to my case and reassemble the cig, I am aware that this is "another" cig and might hold off or at least keep track.
Also, I do have to remind myself that even if I am caning it on occasion that as long as my nic intake is reasonable it shouldn't really matter - they're not cigarettes after all, hallelujah!

I agree with you on the sitting around with it while watching tv, reading, playing on the computer. The one thing that I have done and it is helping a little. I will get up when I notice I am puffing too much and put my cig down, and get a drink or use the restroom, or walk outside and stretch on the porch and don't pick it up again until, I feel like it is really time for a hit. I also found that it helps to put it down between puffs, if it is in my hand I am a puffin and a puffin.

Hello, I am expecting my starter kits early next week, one with prefilled carts, one with juice. Reading all of your posts has really helped me with an idea of what to expect and some handy thoughts and tips. After smoking 35 years, I can't wait to lay the cigs down and start vaping. Thanks for the engouragement. Kathy

Kathy I smoked for 36 years and have been analog free now for 30 days. If you need tips or support feel free to PM me. People who have smoked as long as we have struggle a little more than others. Welcome to the forum.
