    "unbeknownst to me..."

Huh! You and me and the rest of the vaping world, it seems. Was anyone else aware of this little adjustment? I discovered it more or less accidentally when I was going to trim the silicone insulator down a bit. I felt that if I took too much off the sleeve that the post would short out the atty connection and we'd have some sort of pyrotechnic display from my SB. Screwing the post in and out revealed that the button on the other side would extend and retract a like amount. Again I said Huh! and turned it in a smidgen and voila! Success!.

    Hey youse guys at AltSmoke...
Put a little instruction sheet in the plastic bag of those adapters for the newbies so their head doesn't collapse trying to draw through the adapter.

Golly gee miss molly. That has to be the revelation of the century. Low and behold, sure enough. I ordered 2 of everything in case I loosed one. One worked the other only so so, they both work now. Thanks

I'm so new, that when I saw this, I thought it was others common knowledge.
Which is why I've been searching around for a 5v Mod to use with 808 cartomizers.

I'm an idiot! Thanks for pointing this out. I was totally turned off to cartomizers because of too MUCH air flow. I was taping holes up and it was a pain.

I've been tweaking my adjustments all along to get that "sweet spot" for airflow.... I didn't realize so many people didn't know of this or I would have mentioned it long ago.... Started using cartos right after suggested to me when having trouble with 510 wicking... Now only use 510 attys to sample test batch liquids... After the test they go right into my carto, if good of course. Still using my 510 batts because I haven't broken down and bought a KR kit, and some of the center posts on my bats are at diff heights...

Anyone using KR808D-1 cartos, I would highly recommend the premium blanks from v4l. I was getting the cheap ones from HG, and these hold more, last longer, produce more consistent vapor, TH and flavor. All in all.... WELL worth the higher price. (also they use a rubber stopper rather than a plastic tip and rubber gasket, so easier to refill)

    Default wondering why!

    bigwill860
I just started with the carto;s and wondered why one of my 510 to 901 adapters worked and the other did not. I was using and adapter then another purchased 901 to kr8 adapter (about the same size as a regular 510 cart). So the end result was rather unsatisfactory ( loooong ).
Huh, who'd a thunk it. thx for the tip
