I wondered about using the cotton batting, I have some here somewhere I'm going to look it out and give it a try.

Is the Fluval aquarium filter foam safe to use in carts? I'm concerned it might melt causing me to inhale melted foam.
    Mine haven't melted

Hmmm, I'm going to look this up.

    *update on tea bag filler*

I made a new filler about 3 hours ago that creates a spiral design starting at the walls of the cart. Plenty of space. It seems to be working better. I'll have to give it a day or two to see how it does for the long-haul.

    Default What about....

Has anyone else thought about a misting solution? I wonder if it would be possible to either compress the liquid into a cart, or make one that could spray/mist the liquid directly onto the atomizer. It may require to modify the atomoizer to be more like a 3 pass screen, which would vape the liquid as it passes through.

Not sure if it is possible, but if it is, it would make this as safe and sanitary as possible, as well as possibly make a cart last for days on end, maybe even weeks.

I am new to all of this, but I love to fabricate & mod stuff.

Maddog - your mod rocks, and your instruction vid is so very much appreciated. All of you who contribute here are of so much value!!

Bought some flame retardant fiber-fil from walmart. I guess it makes a decent pillow... Anyways! I was reading about the straw mod in the thread called "INCREDIBLE 510 cart upgrade!" for those that are unfamiliar. I'm curious if anyone has tried the straw mod with any of the filler ideas mentioned here.

Also somebody asked about a 401. I recently read a thread about dipping (not dripping) the atomizer. Contact lens container is good for liquid and you can find combined glasses & contact container carrying cases on ebay to store your juice and 401.

Hello all, I'm new here and I've been using the Yeti for about 3 weeks now. I'm loving it, but I'm looking for the best way to replace the cartridge. I've read here that the tea bag method is working well, but it seems to be drying out on me way to fast. I find myself refilling the liquid practically every time I pick it up. Am I rolling the tea bag too loosely? Any suggestions?

As far as I know you shouldn't use a "flame retardant" material. It's treated with chemicals.

I bought it and then I later saw someone's post explaining that it might not be a good a idea to use flame retardant stuff... This is why I was saying the bag makes a nice pillow.
