Cartridge filler materials

There was a concern with fibers breaking off, and rust. Where do you get the one you use?

I gave up with the wire wool idea because I found the wire to be brittle and bits break off....I don't want to inhale any bits of wire!....but now I have a cart filled with the wicking mesh from old penstyle atomizers that I have taken apart and it seems to be working great so far.

Pete, unfortunately (or fortunately...lol) I have no dead atomizers to gather the mesh from. What about that "hobby wire" they were talking about? What exactly is that? Have you tried it yet?

Hmmm that does look like it's worth trying bri.

just an odd note .....I have had some evo cartridges sitting in my drawer for a month....and I just looked at them and the polyester filling in all of them has turned a really dark brown...they were almost white when put away ....I wonder if it's some sort of chemical thing or perhaps bacterial growth?

I've seen that with a couple of mine too that sat around for a while. I just thought it was from the nic. Hope it wasn't something else because I vaped them

Forget polyester guys. I now use stainless steel wool! It delivers the liquid better than any synthetic and doesn't wear out. You can completely fill it with direct dripping without removing the steel wool. ALL of the air bubble out between drops in record time

i would suggest you watch this video Instant Fire From Steel Wool And A Battery - Video and read this thread stainless steel mesh as cartridge medium before further recommending or using steel wool in carts. this has all been suggested tried and discussed before.
