I have been using lollypop stick (dum drums) and with a razor or pen knife cutting short lengths and inserting them into my 901 carts. Works even better when the end touching the atomizer is cut into smaller spits (hard to expliain but it's common sense) this maybe killing my atomizer a tiny bit, but the knowledge that I won't have to pull the polyester wick off is good for me. very easy to do and the wick action is fairly good when the lolly pop stick is saturated

The e-juice turns brown when exposed to air. That is everybodys juice that I have tried. that includes the carts also. Research as shown that bacteria (think it kills it) doesn't do well in PG, don't know about VG.

    Default polyfill cartridge filler

I don't know if this has been asked already, but how dense do you make the polyfill to fit in the cartridge, should it very dense( overlapping alot of polyfill and stuffing it into the cartridge) or should it be thin like the way they come from the suppliers?

I made one really dense thinking it would hold more liquid at the top. but it seems that way isn't the best way to fill it, I had problems with getting vapor. Seems to hold more fluid though.

Anyone have any advice on getting more liquid to be useable(staying at the top of the cart) the liquid in my cartridges always seems to work its way to the bottom and I can't get any vapor from it. Think its a component issue? by the way I'm using a Rio.

    Default I've Found

Naz..Did you watch the video in the first post?
He seems to have used a very small piece of the polyester, only about half what I would have tried.

I also have a Rio, and through trial and error, I've found that I need to top off the cart. fairly often.
I usually put 15 or 20 drops, or just before it puddles up, and a fully charged batt. definitely helps.

A little trick I use is to periodically turn the cartridge, about 1/4 turn on the atomizer. Seems to improve the fiber to atomizer contact and produce more vapor.

    Default RYO Filters?

Has anyone tried using the material from say a roll your own filter? I don't have any left but I was thinking that the material in a cigarette filter might work. You can get a box of 200 for a couple bucks, and I figure one filter would probably split nicely between 3 or 4 of say a 4081 filter, that's 600 fills for a couple bucks. Just a thought. If I try it I'll post back. BTW Hi everyone, I'm new here "see post count."
