| Gings, Are you sure it is wool or is it polyester as the post here have suggested that using wool has some potential negative health effects??---Thanks--Sun

It's definitely 100% wool. The product comes on a roll instead of in a bag, therefore it's sold by the yard. You can purchase less than a yard of course. It's normally sold as insulation material for quilts. | |

| Sun, which wool has been suggested as having negative health effects? I'm not using the steel wool, which I believe has been referenced in this thread, but sheep hair.

| Read it today. Thanks! I have one other alternative that I might experiment with--100% unbleached cotton batting. It's another quilting insulation product. In the meantime, my 100% wool (sheep hair) is working for me.
