I'm loving my SD MKII but I've never owned the MKI and can only say that this mod is quite a divinely elegant product that delivers a wonderfully flavorful vape. To me I had to have one or two or even three(thanks to the fabulous TW discount days) because it set the benchmark, for me and it does seem to have that legendary and iconic mystique.

No country will ever compete with China, though and, how could they? I for one do believe the SD MKII is priced fairly and competitively...people do need to earn a DECENT living or the world economy will and IS showing what happens.

Hats off to you TW for your well spoken words-your stock just went up a whole bunch in my books and I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

It is getting to the point on this Forum that the management of it might be in danger of being accused of letting their forum become a libellous place.

Outrageously offensive posts i will be reporting, if I fail to get blatant defamatory comments removed, I will instruct a lawyer... ECFs call really..
Naturally we will remove any posts that are libellous. They must be reported, however - it's simply not possible for us to patrol every post that's made on the forum.

Please bear in mind that most of what's written about the SD is opinion. I think it's also worth considering that much of the antipathy towards it can be traced back to some of Trog's past behaviour. I think it's fair to say that he got some peoples' backs up!

But your point stands, libellous posts are not acceptable at ECF.

I think that when people buy the Chinese version, it will be moore of a trial than anything. After vaping the chinese version, from what I hear, its not a quality built product and almost an inexpensive way to try it out. Once people try it, and see the quality difference, they will most likely buy the real thing, bc Americans love a good price. But, also want quality. I know myself, I have made an SD clone, then ended up buying a real one because I couldnt build it to my quality standards and knew the real thing would have the quality I wanted. And, it did. Im very happy w/my screwdriver and many other mods I have bought since. Im sure the MKII is even better...I wish Trog the best of luck....

I do think if he did make the changes of a side button and lock out switch tho, people would be apt to buy it, as the chinese version has these revisions that people had asked for. Personally, the botttom button works fine for me tho...

I'd wouldn't buy one because I don't like the button placement, it looks like a solid, reliable PV to me though...and those who actually own them seem to be more than happy with their purchase, and in the end, those are the only opinions that really count.

My main reason for posting on this thread though is that it does seem like since this guy was banned, there have been several folks lining up to kick his product when he has no real means of reply...and that is pretty low and cowardly IMO.

I own a screwdriver, and thats all I have been using for about 6 months. I started my vaping experience like most other people. I started with the cheapest, and most similar in size and looks as I could find to a real cig. That did not work for me at all,as I went through batts way to fast and was not satisfied with the vapor production! I struggled through an endless buying spree of different models, untill I finally decided to take the plunge with the SD,I'm glad I did,but the high price tag is what kept me away from it for so long. I think the SD is great and reliable,my only beef is how expensive it is. I now have an exhaler on the way,and I am saving my money to buy a chuck. Good luck to trogg, hope to see him back here soon
