    Default Vaping in Hotels

    Any experiences?

Over the past 40 years, I've spent 90% of them in Hotels. Smoking rooms to be exact. I've stayed in flea bag rooms near skid row to suites at the Hilton, and everything in between.

Now I stay in non-smoking hotels & rooms. The difference is unbelievable. I can't believe how bad the smoking rooms smell, even after they've been cleaned.

Fresh smelling non-smoking rooms, with fresh smelling linens. No massive burn marks in the carpets, tables, and bathroom counter tops.

I feel like a new person.

I've always stayed in Non-smoking rooms, my hubby doesn't smoke, so I still have to go outside, even on vacations!

I always vape in Hotel rooms even if they are non-smoking. Never been a problem at all.

Up until all hotels went non-smoking I always had a smoking room and even then I was aware of the acrid smell after I'd been in there for a hour or two..... revolting actually, but then I had to smoke,.

I bought my first e-cig purely in order to use it in hotels (and long haul flights - and in my car which I had cleaned when I was off the the fags for 10 miserable months). Absolute bliss.

I'm just back from a 3 week stay in India. I stayed in a couple of really nice hotels, in beautiful clean smelling non smoking rooms.

I loved the fact that all of my stuff (laptop, clothes, luggage) etc did not end up smelling like an ash tray as it did when I smoked all night in smoking rooms.

In general, I loved travelling with my e-cig, especially on those long haul flights and airports! Of course, there's a whole different thread devoted to that topic! Only down side was that I felt like I was taking half of my shop's stock with me on my travels (spare batteries, atomisers, carts etc). Not a single component failed me in my 3 weeks, although I could almost put money on the fact that if I went out with 2 atomisers and 2 batteries something would have gone wrong Anyway, I'm straying off topic!

I've always gotten smoking rooms even though the hubby doesn't smoke. Guess he must really like me or something even after almost 28 years, hehe

Stayed in a hotel a couple of weeks ago. Almost all hotels are completely no smoking these days in the UK and it has been a pain having to go outside every time I wanted a ciggie (I confess that I have on a few occasions hung out the window for a quickie! ). However, this last time, I was in seventh heaven lying out on the bed, watching the television with a cup of coffee in one hand and my e-cig in the other..... BLISS!

Sods law though.... this particular hotel actually did have smoking rooms! (first one I've stayed in for a few years that did!). I was in a non-smoking room though

I like Davis practically live in hotels as u can imagine.... Ive noticed some amazing things since I started vaping...

1- When I have a crew of 20 Flight Attendants and 3 pilots checking into a hotel, I no longer have to panic and hope to god I get a smoking room

2-Smoking rooms just plain riek of every foul odor known to man

3- No more hanging my head out the window, shower caps over the smoke detectors, rolled wet towels under the door, Hiding with the curtains wrapped around me to conceal the smoke type maneuvers to sneak a cig (Us f/a's are quite the creative bunch!)

4- After I have had a smoking room for 18 days, when I would put my luggage in the closet on the plane with all the other f/a's, we would open it up after 15 hours and not only did the closet smell aweful, but everyone elses bags did too. (I became real popular for that one)

5-The non smoking rooms I have gotten have NEVER had burn holes in the sheets, pillows, and couches, NOR scorch marks on the dressers, desks, and countertops!

    Safe travels!
