Airport screen issues?
Not sure if this has been brought up before but has anyone had an issue going through the airport screeners & X ray? I know those TSA guys get pretty persnickety when something comes through on X ray that looks electronic and they've never seen before. I could see them making a big deal about it. I haven't travelled since I started vaping but will be on the road soon.
Anybody test the waters yet?

Not a single problem and the last time I flew I brought all my gear along to show a friend. I even puffed away in the airport and at the airport bars (in Denver) without a single sideways look. I think with as much traffic as most airport get they have run across a few of these before. Especially in any major airport or hub. I even had a situation outside the bag return where a security agent came by to tell the guys next to me that he couldn't smoke there. He looked at me and said 'thats not a cigarette your fine'.

I had a PCC wit me. No problems. I even pulled it out and put the e-cig together while I was sitting there tying my shoes in the security area.
I should also point out that there is an entire sub-forum on this topic:

I can second this, in Denver, Seattle and Vancouver airports not an issue with liquid or equipment. Just keep the liquid under the allowed limit of opened liquids and there should not be an issue.

I'll say what I tell everyone who asks this question. Electronic Cigarettes are not illegal in the US. TSA dosen't care about them.
But, make sure charger and passthrough wires are neatly wound, and secured. A sloppily stored passthrough can look like a detonating device under an X-ray, and can cause a major delay if questioned.
Some airlines have banned their use on board. Be discrete, and careful as not to cause a problem.

Ive only had one run in with a PCC... And that was at Kuwait International Airport.
They stopped me, searched my bag, and then when I told them what it was, they horded me with 100's of questions in amazement. They loved it. (Smoking analogues is HUGE in the middle east. After 30 minutes of this, my crew was getting pissed cause they had to wait so long.
I finally said "Confiscate it or let me through, I need to get to work!!!" They laughed, and let me through no probs.
Safe travels!
